Clemson gets the hype of the Football Operations Complex started thanks to Drone

A $55 million-dollar project for the national champions was released on Sunday, the footage was all shot using a Drone.

The past 3 month progress was displayed and showed the 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility which included a nine-hole miniature golf course and a recreational Clemson-themed basketball court as part of the 1.5 acres. There is even a grass patch in the shape of a football.

The design was well thought out to support the football program and as well to support recruiting efforts.

Technology was a huge focus point for the project for the athletes. They have biometric body scanners Gaming lounges, HD golf simulators, ESPN College GameDay broadcast studios, Green rooms and the “VR Playmaker Studio” just to name a few. . It doesn’t sound like such a bad place to attend now does it?

“Clemson Football has set the new standard for the student-athlete experience,” Trevor Bechtold, a project designer and associate with design firm HOK’s Sports + Recreation + Entertainment group, said in a statement. “This project is the most forward-looking, innovative and comprehensive training facility in the nation and is a testament to Clemson’s commitment to excellence. The design balances Clemson’s focus on football, family and fun through a comfortable, amenity-rich and highly efficient design tailored to the student-athlete.”
